We recently moved my son from one preschool to another. It was a hard-wrought decision based on a lot of little things. The biggest one (that I didn’t want to acknowledge) was that all of those little things meant the first school didn’t feel right for me. And you know what? My son is blossoming with the change. It occurred to me that maybe my own feeling was a sort of an indicator light about the whole situation. I had to heed it to do what was required for our whole family apparatus. Listening to myself was the best way to listen to my child.
