The world was there

“The world was there before you at each sunrise, ready to be read.”  Last month’s Macalester College alumni book club read was Marianne Wiggins’s Evidence of Things Unseen. I loved almost everything about it. Including the luscious prose. This line from the middle of the book grabbed me. I love the way it captures the possibility of a new day. ⁣
