Happenstance

“So much of what happened to me is happenstance.” While I remember writing this down after hearing it on Design Matters with Debbie Millman, I cannot for the life of remember which of her guests said it. Somehow that feels fitting. Things happen and they effect you. The best any of us can do is to roll with the punches and remember to stay humble about our own role in it all.

So much of what happened to me is happenstance.
