I get through a lot of bad days by the Law of Regression to the Mean. If a measure is extreme, it’ll be closer to average next time. The really bad thing will almost certainly be slightly less bad next time.

I am a big believer in action and change, but some moments (and days, and weeks) call for coping and staying the course.
