There’s no mistaking an outbreak of the stomach bug. Everyone’s symptoms may be different, but it’s not too hard to connect the dots from one violently ill person to another.
It can be trickier to identify when feelings and ideas are spreading. But make no mistake: They are just as contagious.
Good ideas and bad ideas; they’re all catching. On this day we remember the courage of Dr. King, let’s also remember how easy it can be to transmit a feeling, an attitude, a movement. Person to person to person to person. That’s how ideas and attitudes spread. It’s the only way they ever have. Let’s make sure what we’re spreading is something good.
